SOW IT, GROW IT, SHOW IT

We hope this finds you well and you had an enjoyable Easter in the lovely and long-awaited spring weather.

After the success of our inaugural ‘FABHS does GQT’ last month (thank you to those who came along and for the lovely comments), we have another exciting new venture to tell you about, coming up THIS WEEKEND, Sunday 16th April.

We are calling it ‘Sow it, Grow it, Show it!’ and it will be a Seed Swap come Seed Sowing Workshop for novice gardeners and children, to encourage sowing for fun and for our show on August 19th.  The Hare & Hounds pub in Framfield has kindly offered to host us in the garden and we hope it will be a fun community event for allcomers.

Seed Swap

If you have any surplus seeds, bulbs, corms etc, seedlings or cuttings, bring them along and swap for something else you fancy.

If you don’t have surplus, come along anyway, browse what’s on offer and take what you fancy for a small donation.

Seed Sowing Workshop

We will also be running a workshop and advice centre for sowing seeds for the Novice gardeners & children (or anyone actually!).  Make your own pot from newspaper, choose from a range of veg and flower seeds and either sow with us, or take away to sow at home.  All materials supplied.

After Terry teased us with some of his tips for Growing for Showing at our GQT, he and Jenny will also be on hand to answer any queries you may have, so do come along for a chat.
